How Long Does Mirtazipan Take To Work

started on 15 mg of mirtazipan for 2 weeks still very much up and down and bursting into tears doc has suggested i take 30 mg i feel worse if anything i feel so tempted to stop taking them.but my husband says to persiveer im 45 and previously was on seroxat for 15 years. could it be harder because ive switched from one to another

When I first took it, it took at least 1 week for my body to get used to it, at first you will be really tired and have feeling of confusion, but after that you will get control of it

Although the GP prescribed me 15mg per day, the minimum strength, he adviced me to try with half a tablet first. I took it straight away and went to bed because after 10 mns, I collapsed. I slept for 4 hours before I could open an eye. The next day I tried a quarter of the tablet. It seems far better. Although it makes me sleep 10 mns after I take it, I sleep like a baby and can wake up in the morning. I do feel emotionnally detached though. I have been taking the stuff for a week now, and so far, I did not notice any weight gain. I guess the amount of this drug people have been taking is much higher than mine and this is what explains the sluggishness and weight gain. My advice is that you should reduce the amount until you find the optimum effect for you. Putting up stones after taking this stuff must be traumatizing and you must feel powerless. I hope you find the right balance.
