How Accurate Is A Lab Tested Urine Sample
UpdatedToday i tested positive for amphetamines (urine sample). I insisted they send it to the lab to be more thoroughly tested, and they did so, practically rolling their eyes at my insistence that i should have tested clean. I know i was clean. I'm breastfeeding, so they immediately sent my husband (the accuser), with our son to have him (my son) tested. He tested clean. I'm waiting for the lab results to prove my innocence, meanwhile cws is involved, and the worker is clearly doubting my credibility, even though I have passed two other tests within the last week. My concern: how do they determine what caused the positive result? I feel like they have already decided that they have caught me in a lie. I just want to be certain that they find the cause., or at least rule out amphetamine use. Can the second test read as a false positive too? The only thing I can find in my online searching is that I had thoroughly scrubbed my dentures (Yes i wear dentures...) with baking soda and then gargled with a dense baking soda and water solution. could that cause a false positive for amphetamine?
