I got only 20 tab of honvan in pune. but that was not enough. In march my dad visited to Aiims delhi where he is being treated, The doc finally replaced honvan by other. but my dad says honvan were gud than newly prescribed.

I am also in search of Honvan tablets for my father aged 77 years. I am from Hyderabad. I dont understand what the government has been doing. Does'nt it have a responsibility ? What has the health minister Shri Ramdoss got to say? I pose the problem to him.

Talked to Cadila guys. The company says there is a delay due to the fact that there is no raw material. The company is not manufacturing raw material and the raw material that they imported from China failed at quality control. There is still delay.

Honvan is available in Poland and Holland. I am trying to get if from there. I don't know how.. Last week I got 5 strips. It was short expiry stock with one of the chemists in Jammu but not anymore. can't find any.

Honvan will be available by March 20th 2009 Says:
I had a word with one of the Cadila zydus people and they say that Honvan is not available as there is shortage of raw material for that. Though injections are available. It will be available around March 20th 2009..

I need Honvan for my Father-in-Law. It was available in Delhi till December, 2008 but suddenly became unavailable. Apparently, no one knows why it disappeared from the market and when it is likely to come back again.It is manufactured in India by Zydus Cadila. There is no information the company's website. Doctors have no clue, Chemists don't tell a thing. No substitute exists. Please post on the forum if some one has any information about the availability of the drug in India.

MY FATHER IS SUFFERING FROM PROSTATE CANCER. DOCTOR PRESCRIBE HONVAN TABLETS. FOR THE LAST ONE YEAR HE IS TAKING HONVAN. BUT SUDDENLY THE MEDICINE SHOPS IN EVERY CORNER OF KOLKATA (As i'm staying nearby Kolkata) IS SAYING THAT THERE IS NO SUPPLY OF HONVAN NOW. WHAT TO DO? IS THERE ANY ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE?
