Does anyone know if the free 30 day trial for Vyvanse is still available? I cannot find it anywhere. My prescription was $250 last month.

This site also offers visitors a free prescription savings card which I believe should work with Vyvanse among a number of other medications.

Yes there is a rx savings card for a free 30-day trial floating around, I actually just picked one up on my doctors office the other day - I guess the pharmaceutical rep. for Shire makes frequent visits lol. I believe this coupon was recently extended as Vyvanse was just approved for Binge Eating Disorder and the company wants to lure in more consumers by offering a one time 'free trial'.

Other than that, there's also a more current prescription savings card that allows your prescription to be discounted by either $60 or $75. This one is available until 2016 and you can easily find it online or by asking your doctor if he has this savings card.

Hi, my regular doctor recommended to take vyvanse, but my psychiatrist say he does not believe in the ADD medications. I have been taking vynanse for the last five years, until I switched doctors. I feel I really need it.

Depending on what state you live in you may be eligible for a student's Medicaid program which would cover your scripts anywhere from 80-100%. Check your state's health and Human Resources department to find out what the qualifications are. Good luck!

You can call shires care program and they will help you. Depends on the mgs you take. I think they will give anywhere from 70 mgs down. My husband takes 140 a day. They only give us 70. The only problem is if you need more than 70 you have to pay regular price which is $543. We can afford to buy it, but this medicine really works.

This is the most amazing medication. It is prescribed for ADHD, however it is much different than adderall. It has helped me with ADHD and most of all the depression that is associated with ADHD/PTSD. It changed my life. Do not believe the stigma that associates it with other ADHD/amphetamines. Find a psychiatrist that understands your psychological needs, trust their evaluation and let them decide how much is appropriate. I was prescribed a lower dose and then gradually a higher dosage. For the past eighteen years life has been riddled with financial debts much too chaotic to describe. This threw me into panic and chaos. Some days it was too difficult to organize or manage life and priorities. Battling a debt trap is so traumatizing it is unspeakable. Especially when systems are inaccurately profiling identities and selling inaccurate debts to foreign entities. Thank GOD for the right to manage life again. Yes it is expensive and without insurance it takes everything I make to afford the medication. Obamacare is the most cruel form of healthcare ever created.

This med will help to manage life while defeating the giant. For the first time since Bill Clinton sold us out in bad trades we have hope for a better life. Blessings.

Your Psychiatrist has to go. There is no excuse for a clinician who "doesn't believe in ADHD meds." That is irresponsible on his/her part.
