Fake Xanax Tastes/smells Like Soap

White perforated sticks, taste like soap which is an ester and has nothing on reverse side. Must have some content of benzos as they keep me from getting sick but are certainly not 100% 2 mg aprazolam. Anybody ever run across this?

Without a marking of any kind it could literally be anything. However I doubt it's made in the U.S., since all prescription drugs here require imprints for determining the drug name, dosage, and manufacturer.

But if you say it keeps the withdrawals at bay, then in my opinion, it's most likely a counterfeit from overseas....

Was this something you had previously ordered online or had just found on the street?

Just got some that have all the normal X ANA X (middle perf split in the N), but they are DEF smaller than the real thing and main thing is they have a STRONG taste that is hard to describe (salty/peppery) and numbs my tongue. Have seen plenty of variations (slightly noticable diffs) in the past that i was skeptical about, but seemed to keep me from w/d and always had that chalky taste, so I'm sure some were fake (w/ lower dose of alp), and maybe some were real, but these are diff. The taste is so overwhelming, and b/c of the tongue numbing, I'm stayin away cuz I'm worried something other than an OTC filler is in these. Anyone else come across this??? Or ppl that know more about chemicals and/or counterfeit pills have any theory as to what could be in it? I'm in TX btw.

Ran across this once. Turned out to be Buspar. Looks like Xanax, taste like soap. Ultimately it is a non-benzo used for anxiety treatment.

I'VE BEEN GETTING THE SAME S***. I GOT 8 OF THA 1Z THAT SAY XANAX ON THEM AND I CHEW THEM UP AND IT TASTED SWEET NOT LIKE XANAX SHOULD. AND THEY'RE SMALLER.

Yep just got 4 of them, are they supposed to have Xanax written on the back, when I tried them I thought it was just soap on my hands, dummy dummy dummy, I get a script of .5's every month but I seem to ALWAYS come up short! So these came by and I REALLY needed them! Any info would be appreciated! Please, thank u

I have two green bars same s 90 3 one is longer but the one that's longer still has the same taste. I'm not a doctor people come to me to ask me questions but this has me confused???

It is suggested to obtain Xanax from licensed Drug Stores only. The Xanax that tastes like soap is soap. Xanax that gives you a little buzz but isn't real Xanax can contain bleach, soap, bug poison and countless other fillers. The gangs that makes them aren't looking for repeat customers.

I got bars 2mg the in print is a same but I got 14 all broken n half they disoved quick on my tounge I hardly tasted any alaprazon only a lol but it had a sweet taste to it obviously I think there fake what could the sweet taste be? I too got some bars...they must have some ingredient in it because I'm not sick or feel like seizures are coming on but u definitely know they are fake somewhat... When u put under your tounge you can tell if sweet maybe a placebo if tastes strong poison like more likely real....idk just need my own Dr and some real xanax:(

I do know that it could either be 1) been purchased from overseas or Mexico, or 2) Made with a pill press in any mg. I had a funny tasting one and not that awful bitter xanax taste last year and found out it was pressed. Pfff...

I just saw them in Philly. People can buy on presses on ebay for less than 100 bucks. Plus they got ones for p30... m boxes, glad I'm out that game. There is something else in it cause it made me pass out, but still soaped.

Yes! I think my pharmacist is crooked. Noticed when I bit off small piece (normally do not take a whole tablet) and chewed it because I needed it to work quickly as I was on verge of panic attack, it tasted like perfumed soap. My doctor only gives me a small quantity to last 6 months. Now I am worried because this supply is probably not even the real thing. How do I prove it though?

What markings are on the pill, what color, what shape, the brand name. I doubt your pharmacist is ripping you off although its possible they got a bad batch

yup. they are going around seattle tacoma area. they do have some xannie in them but they are NOT 2mg bars. looks to me like someone crushed up a bunch of white xannies and then re-pressed them as 2mg bars. Even though they only have maybe .05 mg's per pill

I am so sorry that happened to you honey. It's happened to me about three times already, and I'm 50 damn years old and been taking them for about 5 years, so I should know better. So, let me break it down. I am not a doctor either, by any means, but from my experience and what is 100% true in my situation is, if you taste soap, it's soap. I just got some the other day; they taste just like straight eating damn perfume, straight perfume. And my ass was so sick that I ate it; I was that desperate. And it's messed up that people like that in the world don't care, they don't have any trouble sleeping at night knowing if they could kill somebody, they can make someone sick. There are even elderly people that take them; there are young kids dropping like flies. It's messed up, man. I've lost over $600 in a month and a half just by getting messed over, trusting in the wrong people. My suggestion is, don't hand over any money before you tell them you want to taste one, and if they say no, then bye, because they know what they taste like; they know what they're giving you.

Another thing, when you go to break a real pharmaceutical one, it's going to be, you know, a little hard to break, but then counterfeit ones break like powder. They also dissolve like powder. Don't ever swallow a pill; put it under your tongue because you'll know what the hell it is. You'll know right away if it's fake because it'll just dissolve in seconds; it's just gone. And the real Xanax takes a few minutes to fully dissolve. So just trying to give you tips.

Stay safe and God bless. They never should have put this stuff on us anyway. This world is a messed up world, all about money. Farmers killing us and making trillions off of it.

So, I know exactly what you mean. My doctor took me off, so I was forced to get them elsewhere. Of course, I knew they were pressed by the way they looked. I can tell right away. I cannot tell by the smell unless it's in your mouth and you can just smell so strong from what's in it. But you're always going to see, especially with the blue ones, the bars, you're always going to see an indent on both sides of the ends. You're always going to see a little bit, and they take a while to break down in your mouth if you put them under your tongue and you don't swallow them. That's how I always take mine because it hits you faster, and you could also know if they're counterfeit because it has that, you know, that different taste. It's not as harsh.

But anyway, so I got some. I put it in my mouth, it dissolved in like half a second, it was just turned into some fluff, and it tasted just like damn soap. So, the weird thing is, it did not take the edge off, not even a little. But my partner, he was like, "Well, I could feel a little, like it's taking edge off for me." I don't know, I guess we're all different, but I felt like I just had pure soap in mine.

So another thing is perfume. I was hoping so damn bad that it was at the bottom of that damn girl's purse with her bottle perfume and it just got, because I can happen. It has happened to my real ones, my pharmaceutical ones. But I got some the other day that tasted... I mean, it was like eating perfume, and it was Versace. And it's really a strong, strong, I'm not saying that's the perfume they used, I'm just saying it was that it's a very strong perfume. So, it was really, really hard to like, keep in my mouth. Same thing, no reaction at all. So I don't know, I don't understand why some people could feel a little bit, some people can take the edge off, and some people don't feel anything.

Thank you for your sense of humor! It is true every now & then I have smelled Xanax that had a very chemical smell to them. As a rule I try not to smell Xanax nor any medicine. The bitter comment was interesting as well. We all know Xanax is probably the most bitter thing you'll ever taste, yet I've had less bitter Xanax that tastes chalky and works fine. Again, as a rule I don't taste Xanax either! Best of the holidays to you Kim

In the EU / Europe, all pills don't need markings. Serbia and Chech Rep. are best for real Alprazolam.

You can't send or take medicine back to a pharmacy, it is against Federal law. The exception would be if you were given the wrong medicine? While Xanax is usually always bitter, some pharmaceutical Xanax does have a soapy smell with less bitterness. Breckenridge seems to be like that, yet they do work, go figure?
