what does it mean when the doctor puts clonazepam 0.5 mg tab TEV? what does the TEV mean?

Will if you are being prescribed Clonazepam then that's the generic med, and the TEV would probably stand for the manufacturer TEVA Pharmaceuticals. I could be wrong but right now that's the only thing that would make sense to me...

I agree, that seems to be the only thing that makes sense, that is not a normal abbreviation used in a scrip. Perhaps the doctor recommends that generic brand, some companies with poor quality control have proven to be unreliable and have unreliable meds, so he might want the pharmacy to try and provide you with Teva's generic as they have proven to be effective and reliable, more so than several other companies.

Teva has started showing on my labels also. It is a pharmacutical company that I don't think is in this country. My clonazepam has become paradoxil so I have tried to research this. I am afraid the quality has become compromised. Does anyone else have this problem?
