Bad Dr's

Updated

I want to voice my feelings towards an office in brunswick, maine. It's called sweetser on bath rd in brunswick and its the most unreal uncaring place I've ever been. I will say I started going there about 9 months ago coming out of the mentel unit and was seeing a pca named margret s. Murphy and was a mess when I first seen her but with a lot of talking and medication ajustments she had me feeling the best I have ever felt. Well it all turned bad when she left the facility without notice and then I met with a new dr pca whatever she was named paula erback I believe and she met with me one time for one hr and took me off all my meds that were working for me and put me on a med that never worked in all my yrs on meds. It was terrible its been like 3 weeks now being on no meds and I'm back to feeling like crap and not getting anything done not making it to my needed appt at times its just awful. I start seeing a new dr. In like 2 and a half weeks to get back on meds and I can't wait. Life is terrible thanks to sweetser in brunswick maine.

Hi Stevieb,

Very sorry to hear about your experience with that doctor's office in Maine. Did they ever do away with the previous doctor "Erback" since your last visit? You should definitely have a say in which doctor your money goes to because, unless you have good insurance, you end up paying them out of pocket to take all your meds away in instances like this. For that reason I believe all patients deserve to have more of a say in what they should expect from a doctor's visit. It really seems one-sided when you have to sit there and play games with them or cringe at the notion of walking out empty handed, especially when they can clearly see that you need it.

I wish you all the best in finding the right care!
