Adderall Abuse

I took adderall xr 20mg yesterday at 11pm and by 11:30 it started to kick in but I felt tired and sluggish on the inside but on the outside I was shaky and energetic and my heart was going fast. I got a bad feeling by like 1am so I went to the bathroom and forced myself to puke it out and then I went to bed at 2am and slept for like 10 mins and I was so hyper but on the inside I felt like crap and so I drank a glass of water and went to lay down so I could try to calm down and I kept getting a sick feeling in my belly so I went to the bathroom and I had diarrea and I went back to bed and slept for 4 hours and then I woke up when my mom came here and she was talking to me and I understood what she was saying but everytime I would try to respond the first time all that came out was what and she told me my pupils were huge and I told her it was because I barely had any sleep and after she left I went to go look and my pupil was like the only thing you could see. Its been 8 hours since I took it. But I dont like this feeling. My heart is racing, im shaky, and my stomach is hurting. How can I get the rest of the drug out of my body fast? And do you think it was like a "bad trip"?

Adderall is a stimulant, it contains mixed Amphetamine salts, so the hyper feeling and inability to sleep is quite normal.

And by making yourself puke over an hour and a half later, you didn't get rid of any of it, because it was long digested and into your blood stream by then.

Once it's been digested, the only way to get it out of your system is time. It will eventually process out on its own.

However, I do hope you're not intending to do this again. This is a very dangerous medication to play with. Taking such a stimulant carries dangerous risks, it could cause a stroke, heart attack, heart failure and other life threatening medical conditions.

It would also be best to let your mother and doctor know what that you took it and what happened.
