Xanax Doctor In Kentucky

I have been taking Xanax and Zoloft for ten years. I am mentally ill and on disability. I tried all different kinds of medication for bad anxiety and bad panic attacks, PTSD. But, only Xanax and Zoloft helps me. I also need lyrics, for damaged nerves and spine and my joints. I live in Corbin KY. I can't find a doctor who will except me! Please help! I am not well! I need to be stabilized on my mental illness medication that the only helping. I have been taking that because other medication didn't work.

I'm not sure how long it has been since you've last taken your medication but you should probably start by going to the Emergency Room. You can't just stop taking these drugs, especially xanax, cold turkey. It can be extremely dangerous.

As far as finding a Doctor in your area, I don't live in that area and don't know any there. Were you let go of from your previous Doctor for some reason? If so, they should have at least given you a month's supply so you can find a new doctor. Perhaps you could try a clinic or a doctor in a nearby town?

I live very nearby to your area. I wish I knew a physician to refer you to, as I'm also in a similar situation. Contrary to public opinion across the US, Kentucky has literally refused to adequately treat patients for both pain and severe anxiety disorders for over fifteen years now. In fact, the drug crisis in this area you always hear about on the news stems from the illegal drug problems of heroin and methamphetamine.

I was actually referred by my gp to a psychiatrist in Barbourville to continue my Xanax treatment and was informed that she (the psychiatrist) in her 30 year career had never once written a prescription for Xanax. I know this had to have been one whopper of a lie or she's the most inept psychiatrist in the country. Either way, I was offered a prescription of Buspar, which I accepted and tried to no avail. I too am disabled, suffering from crippling PTSD, anxiety and panic attacks which have caused me to live as a virtual shut-in at home for the past 15 years.

I've been reading a lot of promising information recently regarding psychiatrists online who have begun to offer not only counseling sessions via Skype, but prescriptions for anti-anxiety meds and anti-depressants. Apparently, this has been commonplace in most other states for some time now. However, as you can imagine, only recently have they begun to be available in KY. Hopefully, if we are still unable to locate a physical doctor that is willing to help, this alternative route may prove to be a much-needed solution. Please keep us posted if you have any luck in finding a doctor and I'll be sure to do the same.

Please, someone give me some advice. My doctor that was prescribing my Xanax passed away, and now I cannot find another that will help me in Kentucky. I've been already hospitalized because of it. I really need something but the doctors do not seem to care.

I had a pysiatrist in NC and I came here in September but family doctor will not help me and I need them to help me from going into a seizure when I feel a jerk. Just 1 a day to cary with me at all times
