Were these medications recommended by your doctor? It is probably best to go with your doctors recommendation (rather than someone's online opinion) since he or she would know best, based on your medical history, and various other methods used for determining if a specific drug is suitable or not.
In the meantime I think it would be wise to research and try some natural remedies to help fight the infection without the extra side effects that come with prescription medications.
