Urine Test Positive For Opiates But Swabs Negative?!

After 15 years clean and 11 years of methadone (for pain--but had to transfer to a "clinic" after doctor closed practice), I finally decided I wanted to stop the methadone and see what else was now available for chronic pain. (52 year old female). Signed up to begin going down in my dose. And had to take a pregnancy test. Had a random oral swab the same day. Urine came back positive for opiates/swab was negative. I have random swabs 14 times a year and never had any "dirty". I was shocked! Have had 2 more planned urines (I knew I was going to be tested) both came up positive for opiates!! The clinic would NOT do more swabs on request, nor can I get a blood screen (In MA, you need a doctor's request--can't just walk-in and get any tests even if you pay and don't bill insurance). Anyone have any ideas?? I know a positive for opiates is weird and I have not ingested quinine or any antibiotics...I am having a renal CT scan tonight in case my kidney is acting up with a history of stones and a "sponge" kidney...but no sign of infection (No White Blood cells on urine screen w my regular doctor--high in protein and some red blood cells though). Anyone have any ideas as to why this could happen? One positive I would just chalk up to false positive but 3 bad urine screens? Why positive urine but not swab?? I care only for myself--I am not concerned with the clinic--I have 15 years clean, attend NA, sponsor other women, and have a good strong recovery program in place. Just really really surprised about the positive urines/negative swabs. Thanks!
