Trepeline Withdraweal
UpdatedHow should I stop taking Trepeline. I have been taking 25 mg for pain control for about 4 years. I am not taking another antidepressant for depression and could like to come off trepeline. I believe one should slowly withdraw but am not sure how to do this.

Yes, it should be done on a very slow taper. If you stop taking it abruptly, it may result in withdrawal and rebound effects, which could be worse than the symptoms you started taking it to treat.

Many times it's suggested that someone start alternating the days they take, instead of taking it every day and then start taking it less and less frequently.
