Side Effects Of Vinoralbine

Hi I have been recently diagnosed with 2 tumors in my liver from the breast cancer i also have bone mets. I have been commenced on Vinoralbine so far i have had 3 cycles the first cycle i become neutrapenic and spent 5 day's in hospital. The last 2 cycles havent been 2 bad the usual diahorrea tiredness nausea. Has anyone been on this chemo for the same diagnosis as myself if so how many cycles did u have and how effective was it. I am having a scan on the 2nd of Jan to see if i am responding to the chemo fingers crossed. Happy New Year 2 all.

Thank you for your reply verwon and well wishes. I had my scan and yet another hospital admission this time i had a virus and need a blood tranfusion. Scan showed no changes. Had 4 cycle yesterday onc may change treatment i will know next visit. I was originally diagnosed Oct 2006 with BC hen bone met to my hip jan 2009. I had mx hip and partial femur removed, the prosthetis loosened 16mths later and had 2 have it done again. Then further bone mets .April 2011 and more 2012. Liver diagnosed Oct 2012. I am hopefully and thankful that there are lots of treatments out thrd 4 people going through all types of cancers.
