Side Effect Of Lonazep 0 25

My 6 months old daughter has been suffering from stiff muscles and hence was prescribed lonazep .25 mg (1/4 to be taken twice a day). Wanted to check if it has any long term side effects

Lonazep contains the active ingredient Clonazepam, it is a benzodiazepine.

The most problematic long-term effect is that it can be habit forming, additionally, if she takes it for a long period of time and stops abruptly, there is a risk of seizures, so it should be gradually tapered.

My daughter is 14 months old and weighs 9 kgs. She has been prescribed with lonazep .25 mg to be taken at night as she suffers from night terrors. The doctor also said that it would be ok to give her .5 mg if needed. I started her on lonazep .25mg last night. she did not sleep even two hours after medicating her. So I gave her another .25 mg. After which she fell asleep. She slept well and woke up as usual. But ever since she woke up she has been very drowsy and sluggish. Ans in a matter of two hours after waking up she has gone back to sleep. My question here is 1) should I let her b on .25 mg without increasing the dosage. ? 2) will that dosage make her feel drowsy the next day as well. ? The medication has been prescribed for a period of 10 days. I'm really worried about her especially since shes dozing off during the day as well
