Stop - Practin And Dexona

Hi Sir,
By hearing a friend's advice I have been taking Practin and Dexona since 6 months, but I didn't gain any weight. Now I would like to stop taking this medicine but whenever I stop to take this medicine I found that it cause severe head ache, like migraine. But I really want to stop taking this tabs as I found its not gud for health. Please advice me to get a solution fro my problem. I advice the public not to continuously use this medicine as it will cause severe health problem when you stop taking this tab later.

Dexona contains the active ingredient Dexamethasone, which is a steroid class medication and Practin contains the active ingredient Cyproheptadine, which is an antihistamine and no, it isn't safe to use them just to try and gain weight.

The Practin can help with weight gain, because it increased appetite as a side effect and so does the Dexona, which also caused fluid retention. However, they can also cause other side effects, that may be dangerous.

AS to stopping them, have you consulted a doctor for asistance? To avoid the withdrawal effects, since you have been taking them for 6 months, you will probably need to do a slow taper.

Sir, i had taken dexona for 2/3 weeks only to gain weight for recruitment in defense. Now i have stopped it. After stopping the said medicine, i feel less hunger than before. Should i go to consult any doctor. Sir, i m in great mental puzzle that what can i do. My friends have never taken that medicine, they r not able to guide me. Plz. sir help me.

Hello. Actuallly my mother aged 55yrs are taking @ractin and etizula one daily from last three years. I want to ask whether its safe to use this medicines as she is unable to sllep without sleeping pills. Please guide me

sir please help i am 24 year old i am taken dexona or ciplatin tablet almost 1 year .then i stoped but after some month i feel very weekness .....i cant eat properly some food i am eating after that wormit coming ....and all of this is out.....doctor says this is a side effect of dexona tablet .please help me and give me good solution of this problem.i am very thank full to you
