Pmdocincali

Updated

I have been on norco 10/325 4x a day since I was 20. After I had my first baby my back has been downhill. With car accidents a couple of falls and I'm a dental assistan so imagine the constant movement of that area. Omgeez!! My ? Is if anyone knows of any pm doctors that won't make me feel bad about being in constant pain. I have a great neurologist but I'm moving and won't have much time to travel. Thx all :) stay sunny and out of pain.

Have you tried asking your neurologist to refer you to someone?

That could be your best bet for finding one that will understand your condition and not be uptight and worried about your requiring pain medications.

Otherwise, you'll likely get more responses if you can post back with your general location. California is pretty big. :-)

You may have better luck seeing a regular md. I went to PM for 12 years and they acted like they were doing me a favor giving me the few meds they gave me. I have been a chronic pain person for over 30 years. So I finally found a dr. by word of mouth who has given me pain meds than I never got from PM They are fired for not caring enough to understand there are people who couldn't walk 1 step if they didn't have pain meds. This will be alot harder since you are moving.Did I hear someone say california? if so you shouldn't have alot of trouble finding some dr. that really cares. I lived there for 10 years and most of all the dr's actually did care. They didn't have an issue getting me out of pain. When you get to where you are going to live, call the local hospital and get a list of referrals then check them out on your pc. I think you will get an idea of someone to go to. I know how horrible it is to be in pain non-stop. Good luck my friend, I will pray for you, there are people that care.
