I have alleged Oxycodone pills that I'd like to verify. When broken in half and wet, they turn blue, with darker blue spots. They have T192 on one side and a line in the center. ## Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals, and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Percocet. (NDC 31722-192). The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Crospovidone - Microcrystalline Cellulose - Croscarmellose Sodium - Povidone - Starch, Pregelatinized Corn - Stearic Acid - FD&C Blue No. 1 Ref: DailyMed ## What are the blue spots on the pill? ## T192 pill white with blue s...

This pill doesn't work at all like others I have taken. I'm still in pain after I take it. ## I am very sorry that you are still in pain, Penny! Many people have complained about this, actually, though there are some others that have good results with it. How long have you been taking it? Have you informed your prescribed of the problem? There can be some slight fluctuations, when switching from one generic to another, but they are usually very minuscule and most people adjust after a few weeks, once their body gets used to the medication. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## This is the worst generic percocet I've ever taken. I had adverse r...

I have been suffering from chronic pain for 7 years and have always been on and off pain meds from tylenol 3 to 90mg methadone at the worst of any ever taken. I decided to dose down & get off of methadone as I did not care for the "clinic" enviroment per say as I was using more for pain then for addicition. I found a dr that prescribed me the pain meds for breakthrough pain and the pill form of methadone 10mg was what I chose but now he is gone as he lost his license which sucks for me because NO ONE will give me anything, not even the methadone unless I go back to the stupid clinc and I so don't want that... DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A DR. that would prescribe anything or just something to get me through life with less pain? I am in the twin cities of Minnesota and I will dri...

Hello, First, let me start by saying that I am somewhat opiate naive. I am not in pain management and hopefully won't need to be. I've had scripts here and there for norco and percocet. It is the generic percocet, or more specifically the oxycodone, i'd like to discuss here. Over the past year i've had issues (such as a broken elbow, recurring kidney stones, and a staghorn lodged in my renal pelvis [kidney]), that have lead to several prescriptions for percocet from a total of 4 different manufacturers. Mallinckrodt 10/325, Amneal 7/325, Rhodes Pharmacy 10/325, and AuroBindo 10/325. I've read a lot of reviews about the aforementioned generic manufacturers. The majority of them have been negative especially for Rhodes. Mallinckrodt and AuroBindo are the only two that ...

Hi was prescribe both and my pain is pretty low now and I just want to take the lesser of the two when needed. Thank you ## Hello, Dede! How are you feeling? The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen 5/325 is the strongest, since the Oxycodone is an opiate narcotic. Ibuprofen, as classified by the FDA, is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Ibuprofen may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The oxycodone is a very strong narcotic for moderate to severe pain. The ibuprophen is very mild and is also over the counter at ...

Which is stronger? Norco 10mg or oxycodone 15mg? ## Oxycodone is the strongest of the two, you'd need 22.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to equal each 15mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Hello, all. Just wanted to try and help anyone out there with the similar situation. Generic norco used to work, but over the last 5 yrs., total junk. Tried every brand, felt anxious, no pain relief. God bless my doc, he switched me to oxycodone. Everyone is different, but noticed that this med is different in a lot of ways....most importantly...it is like creeper. It takes longer to start working as opposed to generic norco...

I have documentation that I was on these meds before. I was on 30mg oxycodone 3x daily, 10mg hydrocodone 4x daily, 30mg adderall twice daily, and 2mg Xanax 4x daily. My doctor was just getting too expensive, does anyone know any doctor around the chicago area that is easy going when it comes to prescribing meds? Thanks so much I just don't want to see a doctor and just walk out with ibuprofen for example. Thanks ## Hello, Mike! How are you? There are no doctors that are easy going about prescribing such medications, anymore. New regulations were put in place last year, which they must abide by, or they risk losing their license to practice medicine. If you require these medications on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see specialists to ...

I live in Chicago, Illinois and I have been on Oxycodone 30mg for 3 years. My doctor retired and I haven't been able to find a doctor since to prescribe them. Can you help me and give me a doctors name that will prescribe this medication in the Chicagoland area... ## I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors that will prescribe any given medication. And you may be creating part of the problem yourself, if you're calling new doctors and asking them to prescribe a specific medication. Most doctors will see that as being drug seeking behavior and won't even let you get in the door. The best thing you can do is to set up an appointment with a new doctor and then just make sure they get a full copy of your medical records, so they can speak for themselves. Learn more Oxyc...

My pain mgt. doctor has decided that he wants to take me off Oxycodone 40mg per day and put me on Belbuca. I don't want to do this, but he is leaving me with no choice. What should I expect? ## How is he doing the transition? In order to start the Belbuca, you'll need to be off the Oxycodone for several days, otherwise it could throw you into precipitated withdrawals. Belbuca contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, so the FDA warns that it also carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Ref: Belbuca Information Many doctors are switching their patients as a precaution to help prevent them developing opiate abuse. ## How many days should I be off? Withdrawals do not sound like fun. I want to know why my dr. will only prescribe me 90 pills of 10mg oxycodone for a month yet know people that get up towards 120 a month. Because by the end of my month I have to live in pain for a week and a half before I can drive to his office wait in the waiting room and finally be see, just to get the same 90, which aren't enough. ## Actually, your doctor is not obligated to give you any of them, ever. 90 pills a month would be 3 a day and that is the normal dosing for pain. How many does your prescription tell you to use? Have you told the doctor that this dosage is not handling your pain? Have you considered a different doctor or perhaps pain management? Oxycodone is a very potent narcotic analgesic. Side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. ## ...

Round white pill az 011 - I think it's 5/325mg oxycodone-acetaminophen to treat moderate to severe pain. ## Hello, Carol! How are you? Actually, this tablet contains ONLY 500 mg of Acetaminophen. There is NO narcotic / opiate ingredient such as Oxycodone in it. (NDC 51824-011, among others). Inactive Ingredients: - Corn Starch - Stearic Acid - Povidone - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato ## So this pill is just Tylenol or with pain killer in it cuz I am looking one up and both results keep coming up. People saying no pain killer and then some saying oxycodone in it as well. ## Tylenol IS a pain killer. It's just not a narcotic like Oxycodone. ## Thanks Carol, because I have a toothache. My doctor currently gives me roxicodone 30mg #360, Opana IR 10mg #180, Soma 350mg #120, and Xanax 2mg #90....the only problem now seems to be finding pharmacies willing to fill the oxy's. I was told by my pharmacy (cvc) that they now dont fill beyond 240. Anybody else have this problem in San Diego or know of a pharmacy that will honor the script? Or is this a new state-wide restriction I am unaware of? ## Hey Painman, I haven't heard anything about CVS, but it wouldn't surprise me, they've always been annoying when filling my scripts for the 30's in the past. I always found that Walgreens always had a huge supply of 30's, especially if near a hospital. IF you can't get 30's filled, I would go back to the doctor and have him split your script.
