I have a prescription for hydrocodone 5/500. I get 60 of them/month. Lately I have been taking 5mg oxycodone (2-3 per day for the last 30 days). I am trying to figure out how long it will be before I'm clear for a urine test? I have stopped taking the oxycodone & am only taking my hydrocodone. I have heard that weight can be a factor? I weigh 310 pounds. ## On a regular test, they will both show up as the same thing, just that you were using an opiate, these tests don't show which specific one you were taking. That said, however, you are playing a dangerous game and should get yourself help before you end up with a full blown addiction that you will not be able to handle on your own. Why take Oxy when you have a narcotic prescription already, anyway? ## recovering from my se...

what dose it look like ## My husband has been prescribed oxycodone 5 mg. and oxycodone 15 mg. 4 times daily. When I took his prescription to be filled yesterday I was told that the government was not letting any of them go out right now (the 5 mg, that is). I got the 15 mg. What's going on? ## I know the generic manufacturer Ethex has issued a voluntary recall due to quality control concerns, however, I haven't heard of anything recalled by the government. It is possible that your pharmacy carried the ones made by Ethex and don't have any in stock right now, since they had to pull them from the shelves. I suggest calling other pharmacies in your area to find out if anyone else has it in stock, since there are other companies that make it. Has anyone else heard anything about...

I took Oxycodone after shoulder surgery for about 3 and 1/2 days. Besides feeling nauseous my face got quite flushed. I stopped taking it & have been off it for almost 4 days. My face is still flushed & skin is quite dry. Should I be concerned & what can I do for my face besides using facial cream to hydrate yet doesn't seem to be working? ## My friend I think you're just dehydrated, I had the same thing happen to me when I started on pain meds. They notoriously dry you up, I would recommend you to get a few bottles of Pedialyte, drink a couple in one day then sip one over the next few days. I think you'll find that it will help a great deal. Also if you've been having issues going to the restroom thats a fairly sure sign you may be a bit dehydrated. Take car...
