I recently had a major cervical and spine surgery. But still the pain is very severe with me taking 20mg of oxycodone every 3 hrs plus 1000 mg of Tylenol Extra every 6 hrs. My father has been taking medicine for pain for 12 years his dr. I've taken about 240 mg of Roxicet in 3 days for 3 herniated discs... Technically, any doctor that is licensed to practice and prescribe medications can prescribe it. However, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see specialists. I have been on oxycotin 80 mg tid approx.. 14 yrs. I doesn't work as well it does not take care of my pain like it use to. The dr. even gave me about a yr ago oxycodone 15 mg aid. It still is not working .If I was put on dialaudid pills what would be the equivalentand wouldn't it help my pain? An equivalent dose of Dilaudid to the Oxycontin you take would be 90mgs a day and it's usually not used in such high doses. Hello, I started taking the 10 mg oxycodone made by A333. I was taking the brand Watson until my pharmacy switched. I've noticed I've been having a lot of symptoms that I've never had before until after taking this brand that makes A333. New insurance, new doctor, been getting 5mg oxycodone for spinal fusion,chronic pain for past several years. How do I ask new doctor to give me this. Had kidney/liver problems so they give me this, no aspirin, no tylonel. Doctor is afraid to prescribe. I would like to know what is the dosing in milligrams of oxycodone with out the Tylenol. I take 10/325. what is the dose for that strength with out the Tylenol, as well as 7.5/325 ## Hello, Ann! I've been prescribed oxycodone 30mg for almost a year now due to back and knee injuries and it has become impossible to fill my prescriptions here in the state of Florida its been impossible to fill any pain meds for that matter. I recently had open heart surgery and was prescribed Oxycodone HCl for the first time in my life. The pain of the surgery was the worst I have ever had. The Oxy helped a lot. I had a migraine a few weeks after getting out of the hospital and I knew I could not take the Furinol (sp) because it has caffinine and I can no longer have caffinine, it cause AFIB, so I tried one of the 10 mg Oxycodone tablets. I laid down, as I always do, put on my CPAP and I was already into the aura phase of the migraine. I stayed motionless for about an hour, and the aura faded, as it usually does, and I waited for the pain and naseau to start. To my shock, neither of these happened. I'm brand new to this..my fiance is in the verge of being diagnosed with colon cancer we have just seen oncologist recently he has prescribed him 10mg of oxycontin sr 2times per day and percocet 5/325.2 every 4 hrs as needed his pain is tremendous and has debilitated him he was prescibed 90 for now and that was 3 days ago he is now down to 45 left he will run out quickly in the next few we are new to this and I think he is takin well over the recommended dose but his pain is so bad and its the only thing that gives him any sort of relief and not even that much.
