Omnacortil 10mg- Can It Be Taken For A Long Time

I have ben using Omnacortil 10 (O 10), one tab daily for 14 months for RA Factor + with ANTI CCP rate-200. After stopping , I feel no appetite, loss of weight, loss of HB percentage etc and mild fever through out the day. As soon as I again start taking O 10, all my problem vanished. What will be the harm if I continue this life long? I am now 55 years.

Omnactoril contains the active ingredient Prednisolone, which is a steroid class medication and yes, there can be some risks associated with long term use of it.

Such risks may include developing fluid retention and edema, which may lead to congestive heart failure, as well as a compromised immune system.

I am an age of 32, Male, suffering with Lichen Planus for last 2 years. But showing any releaf, so doctor suggested to take Omnacortil 10 mg for a day for 6 months.
