Possible side effects of Novacaine is numbness or tingling of the face or mouth, and pain at the injection.

More serious side effects are: anxiety, difficulty breathing, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, seizures, rash, irregular heartbeat, and swelling. These side effects should seek medical attention right away.

I had a tooth filling done on March 12, 2013 at 11:00am, by 1:30pm I was feeling nauseated by 3:30pm I was vomiting uncontrollably and i had diarrhea all night.On March 13, 2013 I woke up with upper back pain, abdominal pain and its hard to take deep breathes.
