Need A South Jersey Dr. That Will Prescribe Xanaxs

I need a Dr. In S. Jersey to prescribe me xanax!!!! My Mom recently died and I've got 4 antiexty disorders, I'd been taking them for a few years. My OLD DR RETIRED& the new dr stopped me COLD TURKEY!!!! I was told by my old Dr, I'd have to be taking them for the rest of my life because Of my 7 disabilities!!!! I'm in the process of suing the old dr as I write this!!!PLEASE, if ANYONE KNOWS OF A DR THAT WILL PRESCRIBE XANAXS FOR ME ID BE ETETNALLY GRATEFULL!!!!!!! Thank You

The dr. should never taken you off xanax.and make you go.wihout them you could die from that it is the only drug that can cause you to die not many patients know this go back and tell your new dr or find another dr and tell him or her that they.should have put you on adavain or tapered you down.But honestly that is what so many drs has told me cause I have taken them since my surgeries in 1997 &1998.That is the only.drug that can csuse seizure and then.death go back.and tell him.that you are a. informed patient or go to the e.r. and explain how long you have taken them and tell them to put you in the hospital and get another.dr to.take care of you.I am not kidding about it being the the only drug that can cause you to.have a heart attack from not having them.Don't put your life in danger because a dr. will not help you.God Bls and Good Luck.Don't wait too long and it would not hurt to tell the doctors thst you will sue him and you have had small seizures and are afraid it will run into a big one thst kills you.He wil know you are s informed patient or go to s physharity once they put you on them it is hard for s general.dr.to take you off tell him though you.don't need antidepressions you need those meds for anxiety and panic attacks cause you can not leave your home and to stores when you do you have to leave your buggy in the middle of the store snd have to get out of ther because of panic attacks.God Bless snd hope this helps you and I am so sorry for the loss of your mom I know how that feels also.

So the old Doctor retired or quit practicing and now you are going to sue him? Nice? What grounds? What are your damages. I think you can only sue if you're dead first?

Xanax is not the only medication that can put someone in danger, of either death or seizures, if they stop taking it abruptly. It is actually just one of many. Such dangers are associated with all the other Benzodiazepines, too…including the Ativan that was mentioned.

However, the relevant fact here is that no doctor is required to treat anyone or prescribe them any medication, unless that person is in life threatening danger. At that point, they are required by law to administer life saving aid, but only until the person is stable and out of danger. They do not have to continue treatment past that point, nor do they have to prescribe anything at any point.

Thus, there is no case against the prior doctor, or the new doctor. The risks of such medications are freely available to the public in the side effect monographs.

The only thing you can do is try to find a new doctor and see if they will prescribe it.

But, if you go in demanding that they prescribe it, they will view that as drug seeking behavior. You need to let your medical records speak for themselves, so they can see what has and hasn't worked for you, in the past, as documented by a fellow physician.
