I took fruta planta and lost 30 pounds within 7 months. I had started taking it June of 2011 and I stopped taking it in January of 2012. I was excited I was happy I was skinny.The problem was I ended up in the hospital January of 2012 with very bad pain I ended up having my appendix out and I still was experiencing pain after pain after pain and shortly after that I had that gallbladder removed. No I was 29 years old about to get married in June and I had to have TWO EMERGENCY SURGERIES!! Before I started taking fruta planta I was HEALTHYhealthy nothing was wrong I was perfectly fine. I had even made post stating that it was good there were no problems, however right now the only thing I can think of at that time that could have caused that many problems would have to be the pills if I could take it back I would never have taken those pills. Thank God nothing seriously bad happened to me.

Sorry to hear about your troubling experience with Fruta Planta. According to an excerpt I found on wikipedia, the FDA had previously released a warning (on December 30, 2010) regarding Fruta Planta dietary products. Apparently they were found to contain undeclared amounts of Sibutramine; a substance that was banned for its safety concerns, involving sudden death, heart failure, renal failure and various gastrointestinal problems.
I'm glad to hear that you're doing ok now despite all that this drug had put you through. Hopefully your post will help steer others away from even considering such a dangerous supplement.

I to had a similar experience around the same time. I was taking fruta planta for a few months, it was working great. I was loosing weight. Then I started experiencing this abdominal pain. The worst ever.I had to call the ambulance and go to the er. I was 26 and undergoing two major surgeries. I had my gallbladder removed and a few gallstones. Before fruta planta I was perfectly healthy. I actually was considering taking them again until I saw this post.
