Loratab Relief

Updated

I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia, inflammatory arthritis, and bulging discs in my back. So far the doctors havent been able to do much to help with the various treatments that they are having me undergo. I had a medial branch block done last week, which is basically going in and numbing your nerves and it is supposed to make your pain go away for about six hours, if it works they go in and fry the nerve endings in the same area. Problem is since the initial procedure my pain went from a normal 5 to 6 to a regular 7 to 8 and that is if I dont do anything at all. My regular doctor was prescribing Norco 5/325 for me but now that I am associated with the pain center, she would like me to see them for everything from here on out. My goal is to find a treatment method that doesnt require any pain medication if that is possible, but in the meantime there has to be a happy medium. I couldnt drive my daughter to school this morning because I was in too much pain to walk to the car, I had to call a friend and get them to do it. This was the hardest moment I have had to deal with in awhile. How do or where do I find a doctor that isnt scared of the regulations that are out there to prescribe something that is actually working for me while they try all the things they want to do with me to see if anything else works. I used to take really strong medication a few years ago and have no desire to take that again, I was a pain free zombie and that wasnt ok either. I live in Northwest Montana.

Hello,

Have you ever considered trying medical cannabis, acupuncture, or essential oils? I've heard that those three natural alternatives can be quite beneficial to those dealing with pain. Here is a link to a site that gives information about specific oils that work well for pain: experience-essential-oils.com/essential-oils-for-pain.html

I'd love to hear back from you if you try any of these methods or benefit from them in any way, good luck to you and I hope this info helps!

I've had chronic pain for years and when I transferred to a pain treatment facility is when my life became hell. My doctor prescribed fenytal or also Durgesic patch for my pain. Whatever you do, don't don't take this drug. It's for terminally cancer patients and just makes you a zombie. Just some advice I wish I'd had about 12 years ago. 😊
