I am having shivering problem and doctor advised me to use Levipil 500mg. I am taking it once in a day in afternoon. Can I please know on which part of the body does it work?

My father is on levipil 500mg morning and night. He is having anger issues... Hallucinations and sleeplessness.... After administering the drug, the next 4 to 6 hours he is aggressive then becomes normal and at night he is awake... Please let me know if the medication if taken in a lesser dose, will help.

I am 30 yrs old. My name is Chandrakant. I have gone through a car accident in Feb.2017. Till date I am taking Levipill 500 - 2 times in a day.I want to just ask how many days approx. this course required. Fits problem not happen a single time.

I have been taking levipil for the last 3 years for syncopal attacks.... Started with 1000 mg twice a day, it is now reduced to 250 mg twice a day. But due to fits the dosage was once again increased and now I'm taking one tablet 250mg in the morning and two tablets of 250mg each at night. By mistake today i have taken 2 tablets in the morning... What should i do now? Will it cause any harm? Will I have to repeat my treatment again from the beginning?

Yes you are suffering from epilepsy. Trust me my elder sis has been suffering from this since 4 years . It stops temporarily due to medicines but if you stop taking the medicines then they will return and would have adverse affect on you so please continue the medication and treatment.

i have seizure disorder on 25 dec 2016 first in my life & after shivering became unconcious & also bite my tongue .After MRI & EEG calcified granuloma in left frontal lobe diagnose. doctor advised me eptoin 100mg thrice a day,levipil500mg twice a day.after 5 months he told me to stop eptoin 100mg.Now i m taking levipil 500mg twice from the date i had seizure disorder.for how long i have to take levipil 500.Please advise as i am feeling completely fine

My name Ankush. Mera accident 2013 year me hua tha tb se mai levipil 500 mg krha rha hu 1 din me 2 bar. Mere accident ke bad mai bhut angry ho jata hu. Aur mera awaz sahi se nhi nikalta .. Muche lgta h ki mere left side brain me temparol lobe me kuch ho gya h.. Aur is medicine khane se life km hoti h.

This medicine is used for seizures.This medicine works by affecting the transmission of nerve signals in the brain.

Please do not stop the medicine. Ya you can consult another Dr. I have been taking levipil 500 for past 6 years. Thrice a day.. My dr is Mr. Deepak Arjun dass, Am from Chennai.

hi sir.
I have a got 1st attake of epilepsy before 6 year ago.
thn doctore precribe me to take valproll cr, after taking it 3 year cont. I take report of eeg nd mri thn it comes normal so doctor advised me to take tablet one a day bt thn another time problem happend so doctor gave precsribe levipil 500 mg so I take it frm last 3 year nd nw all the reports of eeg nd mri are totally normal as compare valprol cr tablet...
so bt my doctor told me to continue levipil 500 mg next 6 year...
but i'm not satisfied with my doctors ans. so I want ask u nw what I want to do...
I want to leave all this things...
and nw no one symptons of epilepsy are shown since last 3 year...
so plz give me ans. sir...

The doc may change the med but no escape from anti-convulsant. I have been irregular telling myself no problem I am feeling much better but I suddenly had very damaging effects and it could be worse. So take medical advice and have it changed change if the effect is too disturbing otherwise live with the discomfort you will get used to it.

I had partial right hand paralysis like symptom in the week 7th April to 12 th April. Writing trouble, recall was poor , speaking took more time etc. I was admitted to hospital at Dadar. MRI was taken. It was concluded by Neuro Physian and Neuro Surgean that it Subdural Haematoma( SDH) case. Accordi )ngly operated next day on 13-4-15. Subsequently I was advised to take levipil 500 mg ( 1-0-1). I feel very sleepy( 12 to 14 hr a day, weak, tired after the medicine. I am taking this medicine till today. I was advised to carry out test for "levetirocetam" HPLC and the result is 19.4 mg/l. The CT scan report shows still 0.6 mm deposit of smear blood as on 25-05-15 against 1,5 mm after operation on 14-04-15. I understand that Levipil is for preventing feet. I do not have any past history for feet. However I feel giiddyness when here is high level of gas or indigestion. Normally I take omez 20 for such problem. Pl advise whether I should continue levipil 500 mg. Doctor do not pay much attention to symtoms, problems. He just goes by test report and says it is fine why do you worry. If you have headache take CALPOL 500 mg. Hence please advise whether I should consult another doctor or continue with levipil 500 mg. I am also not sure whether opertation was necessary or it could have been avoided.

My mother is 70 year had a seizure first tome after stomach infection and found sodium and potassium less in blood. She was prescribed Levipil 500 twice with Strocit 500 twice. Her ct scan was normal. But now she has a feeling of vomiting and not hungry. Please advise.
