Inr Testing
UpdatedMy INR for over a year is between 2.5 and 3. My nurse insists that I only require it to be tested every 3 months. I have a mitral valve fitted and fibration and worry that this is not often enough. Comments?

What medication(s) do you take?
There are some newer ones that are not as unpredictable and don't cause the severe problems with your INR that the older ones did.
For instance, people on Coumadin are usually tested every month.
