I have a small round pill with the letter m on it that's purported to be Hydroxipam. Has anyone been able to find information on this drug?

My mother in law, aged 86, used Hydroxipam for a couple of years. She is a state patient and the new state GP changed the Hydroxipam to Zopiclone-alchera - Is this drug similar to the Hydroxipam?

The medication itself reportedly works by blocking the action of histamine (a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms). It also works by decreasing activity in the brain.
Corrie, the Zopiclone is a sedative hypnotic that is used to treat insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, and hallucinations. How is it working for her? What condition was being treated?
