I actually got some yellow 039 that I thought could be fake cuz they weren't as hard as fake greens, but we're harder than usual, and had a sort of sugary taste..

Yes. The bitter and sweet are the best way to tell. If they snap into a bunch of pieces when you try to break them... Fake. If they fall apart in your hand...Fake.

Whatever, people are faking ALLLLLL the bars, NO MATTER WHAT COLOR!!! Only real way to determine whether its real or not is by measuring the depth, width, length and examine any seams on them.

Definitely not true. I know a guy personally that presses fake bars and they look exactly like real ones. Yellow or white he can almost make any fake pills.

The green bars are real! I promise. It has 3 sections,2 lines to break. Middle bigger part is 1mg . Outer pieces are .5mg. =2mg . Alot of people prefer them over the white and yellow. Promise they are real

Almost all GG 249's are fake here in CT. Don't buy them. Real ones are 15 1/2 mm in length. And the 4 is not a complete 4 and they taste like chalk.

I'm not sure where you got that the middle part is bigger or contains more alprazolam because the middle part is exactly the same size as the other pieces. They are however the least of the faked bars

Too bad we can't post pictures. My R039 yellows are thinner, break easily, and taste horrible. Taste is really the only way to tell, and if they are bitter they are real. I have never even heard of big blocky yellows. Not saying they can't be out there but the only counterfeits I have ever heard about going around are white with a phony XANAX printed in the wrong place and phony GG bars. Just taste it. Or better yet purchase a benzo test kit. I want off these so I'm tapering and making the switch to klonopin. Hope everything turns out ok.

Your right about the taste but same thing goes for both colors , I've been taking them banana bars since '05

I've taken bars for years and I go to specific pharmacies because they use a certain manufacturer that I like and can tell a difference on how the medication reacts. So I completely agree with your post besides how pharmacies use different manufacturers and some manufacturers are better than others. I work as a pharmaceutical rep so I know this to be oh so true :)

Did your yellow r309 bar melt fast in your mouth? Mine are bright yellow but disolve fast, but they have that xanax taste. Did the ones you evaluated on your drug panel come up positive?

Any type of pill can be counterfeited by pressing unknown powder with the exact numbers and look identical. Easiest way to tell is look em up on the internet. Even if it comes up it could still be counterfeit. Obviously if u can't find it, it's not real. If u do then u can taste a lil piece and if you have ever had a Xanax dissolve on your tounge you will never forget that taste. It's a bitter type taste. Only other way I know is wait 30 minutes and see if u feel anything. Best way is to get em from a doc. Be smart people.

Got same problem in Texas. A bunch of bad bars. The best way to tell is put one on your tongue and let melt. If it doesn't have a bitter taste then they are probably bad.
