How Long Does Valium Stay In Your System? (Page 8)

I've taken maybe five or six Valium in the past two weeks. The last one about two days ago. Other than that I have not taken anything besides Suboxene. Does anyone know how long it takes to get out of your system?

OK those of you who take benzos with your subboxone are taking a very large risk of O-D ing, i know at least 10 people who died combining those 2 drugs because that combo makes your lungs and heart shut down, and yea vallium stays in your system for at least 1 month i took 2 (5mg) vallium and failed a drug test 30 days later. I weigh 160 lbs and am 6 foot. So unless u know for sure by ways of buying your own drug test to take b4 hand. I would recommend on taking precautionary action such as using someone else's urine strapped to the inside of your leg or something (just an option) better to be safe than getting burned by a Dirty Benzo Filled urine.... and if you dont want to risk getting busted using someone elses urine drink tons of water and cross your fingers and hope it is dilluted enough, however if they use gas chemography which many testing facilities use that will not turn out well for you

Okay , I posted up on this site , 2-1-2013 , I had stopped taking diazepam , that date . I just got back from a doctor visit and took a piss test . I failed . So , I am 6 ft 200 pounds .
However , I needed to test positive for them . That's how confident I was , that I knew id been dirty . So it has been around 6 weeks , or so since I stopped them .
There is one thing you can buy online . Its called pee be sure . This will cover it up . I'm 100% sure it will work . Even for pot .

@lilo, Apparently Valium as well as other Benzodiazepines can take up to 1-6 weeks to go undetected in your urine. But this is going to vary for each individual person.

Diazepam, the main ingredient in Valium, can stay in your urine for longer than you'd expect. Im 6' 170lbs and in excellent condition. I workout hard almost everyday so I'm constantly sweating which I thought would get it out faster. I took 4 Valiums on a Saturday after not taking any before and got tested 6 days later on the next Friday and popped positive.

if u google the halflife of diazapam(valium) it says 24-200 hr half life now it typically takes 5.5 half lifes for any drug to leave the system. valium is also fat soluable instead of water soluable much like thc the active ingrediant in mayjuana so if u take it for a while levels build up in the body thus causing it to take longer to leave the system. in my experience i took 60mgs one time and tested positive for it for 26 days, it is one drug i will never ever touch again. xanax(alaprozalam) is much stronger and has a much shorter half life id recommend anyone trying benzos use that over valium its bad real bad

Well of course it would be easier not to be an addict. But it realy isent a choice. People and society need to learn that addiction is a disease not a choice. And I personally find Valium beneficial. It eases the dis ease that we feel most days. The problem is that addicts are bad at managing there meds and end up taking to much. It's a complicated issue. But I think Valium is a better choice than heroin. And maybe some people genuinely need some chemical help to enable them to lead relatively normal lives in this modern age. Science has showed that about 10% of people and mice have a brain chemistry that doesent release the required amount of dopamine to feel at ease. This 10% if given the chance will become addicts. Maybe this was a usefull genetic trait in pre history. The dis ease that early addict minded man felt may have driven him to take risks in order to achieve the neuro chemical reward. Early risk takers would explore new lands ,build boats,climb mountains. That sort of thing. In evolutionary terms the risk taking ,dis ease(addict) gene would survive not only because this quality was attractive But it would also be usefull in a violent world these people would be up for a fight. Also they probably did a bit of rape. It was a different time. A little rape here an there was expected,an probably the normal thing to do once you've killed a member of another tribe. Hence the addict gene survivs Anyway what dyu think of that hypothesis ? I'm a bit bored. Think iv had to much coffe. I'd love some vallys right now. They just sort me out. Addiction hey. What can u do :-)

I disagree Xanax made me crazy. Plus it dident ease my anxiety as much as Valium I'm a recovering heroin addict and I get prescribed benzos every now an then. But when I was given Xanax it did strange things to me.I became really angry ,often. I also had self harming thoughts. Which Iv never had b4. I even tried to inject the Xanax with a knife and a biro. Luckily I dident manage. All of this was totally out of character for me and I was taken off them immediately. Everyone reacts differently to the various kinds of benzos. But diazepam has been around longer ,I think. So I say go with the tried and time tested diazepam Xanax made me insane. I wasent aware of it while I was on em. But after I was like "F*** me". I was crazy. I'm not sure if this is commen ,but my doctor said it does happen. So watch out. An b carefull. Cuz that s***s crazy. Anyone else know what I'm on about?
