How Long Does Klonopin Stay In Your Urine (Top voted first)

I took one 2mg Klonopin pill Friday evening and I need to know if it will show up on a urine screen this Monday afternoon? I do not take this regularly...it was just a one time thing. Thanks.

Ryan, do you feel better now that you threw your little 2 cents in? Was that really necessary to post that comment? I'm pretty sure that the person who has been on that medication for 12 years already knows how difficult it is to get off & thats probably why they haven't detoxed yet. If you can answer the question that's great but keep your judgemental comments to yourself!

Most urine tests pick up benzodiazepines, except many will miss klonopin completely. The scan looks like I"m 100% clean. Am in methadone treatment and tested often, prescribed klonopin, and it never shows up. My m'done doc said this would be the case. And we've used several different drug testing labs at the clinic

RYAN, you don't need to comment on things you know nothing about, I know more about Methadone and pharmacueticuls in general than you ever will. I am a MIT trained chemist with schrapnel in my gut. Klonopin contains the active ingredient Clonazepam, it is a Benzodiazepine and these are actually the problematic ones, when it comes to urine drug screenings, because they can be detectable for as long as 6 weeks, after taking them.

There is really no precise time frame, however, because it will vary, depending on your individual metabolism, overall health, fluid intake, activity levels and many other factors.

Since Oct.31,2012 I have taken 1mg xanax on Thursday 11-8-2012, Sunday 11-11-2012 I took 1 10 mg valium, and today 11-14-2012 I took 10 1mg klonopins. I have taken methadone at 180 mg daily for twelve years and the methadone used to take care of all these problems, but my clinic has switched to the most weak generic cheap medication they can make money from and the medicine no longer last even 12 hours. I have a drug screen anyday and it is a twelve panel highly sensitive GC/MS and I need some glimmer of hope. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Thuirsday 11-8-2012 took 1mg xanax, Sunday 11-11-2012 took 10 mg valium 10, and wednsday 11-14-2012 I took 6 ea. 1mg klonopin. I will be tested anywhere from 11-15-2012 to 11-30-2012. I need intellegent \, proven things I can do to lessen my poor chances of passing. I have been on methadone for 12 years and it is no longer working, because my clinic is using the most weak, generic, inexpensive methadone they can acquire and it no longer resolves my panic attacks, especially when waking in the morning, these are my worst times. PLEASE HELP ME MY FELLOW brothers and sisters in the struggle.

Timba, Im in the same exact boat right now, Im also on the clinic and just got piss tested. I didn't take any benzos for 5 days so you think I'll be clean? How long after you take klonopins do you get tested?

Pat, I severed my spine in a car accident in 1993 and have had 7 major spinal surgeries in the 4 years after the life changing car accident. I have been judged far too many times by people that have no idea what it is like to suffer from severe chronic pain 24/5/365. No one truly understands unless they, too have suffered chronic pain for more than say a root canal. I appreciate your service to our country and if you are still suffering pain, why are you worried what anyone thinks about you taking Methadone or any other pain med that helps you function in your life. You still work a very mentally demanding job and people like Ryan are completely out of line, uninformed and clueless how difficult it is to be a productive person (father, brother, husband, son, employee, etc.) while suffering from chronic pain. Stay the course buddy and just blow off people that know not what you endure. I wish you the best!!!

Thanks Timba, you have given me a glimmer of hope, I am on the methadone clinic and have been for twelve years, I justv syarted the klonopin because the methadone doesn't work anymore. It seems like the methadone is cheap,generic, watered down s***. I pray you are right. Thank you for the reply, Pat.
