How Long Does Ativan Stay In Your Urine (Top voted first)

I took 10 mg of Ativan on Saturday night and have a urine drug test today, Tuesday at 5:30. Will it be out by then?

PEOPLE you MUST Realize that NOT ALL BENZOS work The Same - In Fact They Differ More than Most!

Take Ativan: you will PISS Clean - by 7-12 hours AFter using - The more you use, the longer it will take. Ativan is Gone in 24 hours...

Now say Xanax or Valium...
These are WAY WAY Longer in your system thus Longer time needed to piss clean.

But Ativan?
ATIVAN: it SAYS 7-12 HOURS and you're urine test is clean - so give it a Day to be 100% sure.

And people - when you Answer Questions for other people.. At the Very VERY LEAST: Look up the Drug they are mentioning. Don't just go with the "drug group" since they can and DO vary by Weeks!

Hello. Could someone PLEASE CONFIRM that Ativan leaves the system quickly?? I've read so many varying posts that I'm a nervous wreck. I took 2mgs on Saturday and 2mgs on Sunday and have a urine test at 3:30 today. I'm begging someone to please reply and I will certainly post after I get my results.

I am on a methadone clinic and I have quite a bit of experience with urine tests and benzos. Val8um is by far the worst as far as staying in your system for the lengthiest amount of time. I once took 20mg's and it was almost 2 months before my urine started coming back clean. Last sunday I took about 2mg's of ativan and wasworried because I had a ua the following thursday....iit's now monday the following week and I haven't heard anything from my case worker at the clinic so I think I'm good. If it does end up coming back dirty I will post here.....if it's clean I won't post anything in caseanyone is wondering.....best wishes to all.

it will be gone in 24 hours from the last pill you took. i get tested all the time and take about that same dose - and if i take it no later than 5pm - then i am a-ok for my next days 1130am urine test and swab test. so no worries aqbout Tuesday

I took 10 mgs of Ativan (lorezepam) one week prior to being drugscreended. The results will be back soon. And I will post what came out of it. Thanks for putting my mind at ease guys

Yes, you will be fine. Ativan is extremely fast acting and is out of your system within a day. I know this is true as im on a methadone clinic and get urine screened ofyen.just last weekend I took 3mg's on sunday afternoon and pissed clean k9nday morning. Don't lisyen 5o the people that say up to 6 weeks...they don't have a clue what they're talking about....that's a generalization for all benzos some of which can stay for up to 6 weeks

valium is unique among benzodiazepines. It is THE longest-detectable benzo by FAR. It can stay in your system for up to two months. Valium shouldn't be used in reference to Ativan, as Ativan, barring some bizarre circumstances, won't be detectable beyond a week, usually much less time it's outta your system

First I can't stand reading semesters to peeps q's that are dead wrong and obviously assumptions. Ativan is a benzodiazapine and benzos have 2 seperate mechanisms that cause a failed test . There are three types of benzos short acting , intermediate acting and long acting . The short acting meds have a urine detection time of only a few hours , the intermediate will be 1 to 2.5 days and the long 6 weeks. Ativan falls into the intermediate class. The other factor is metabolite s many benzos metabolize into other benzos in the system causing them to hang around in the body. For example Diazapam metabolizes into oxeazapam , tamazepam and nordiazepam which are all dead ringers for the use of benzos. But here is the good news ativan (lorazepam) has no active metabolites and is a 2 day urine clear. My scource is NORCHEM'S published research on benzos.

The problem is that people assume that cuz one benzo. Metabolizes and ligers for 6 weeks that they all must which is simpley not true. When you are reading an artical about drug detection times and benzos says 1 day to 6 weeks

I took an Ativan on a Tuesday at about 8pm and took a drug test Thursday at 9am and failed. Really sucks bc I was a dumbass and hadn't taken anything in months.

i just called cvs and told then that I am prescribed 1 milligram of ativan a day and I take it 3 times a day. she said that its out of your system in 72 hour. im on drug court and i have to be sure of what I'm doing because if I fail a drug test I will go to jail. good luck

The medication can/will show up in your urine within 1 he of taking the Ativan. Frozen urine is good for up to a year if kept frozen. Once thawed and re-warmed three times---you need to get fresh frozen and start over. Believe me, I get tested regularly and I've definitely had my experiences with subbing urine! ;-)

I was taking 2-4mg of ativan daily for 2 weeks, then once I stopped it was out of my urine 4 days later.

Don't give people bad info. Ativan will leave your system anywhere from 7 to 22 hours after ingested. It will NOT be in your systen 6 weeks after you take it. Weed is gone after 28 days. Ativan is the shortest acting benzo there is. No way it could ever be found in your system 6 weeks after your last dose it. SMH.

Dude calm down. Ativan clears ur sy stem very quick. Most of the ppl saying it takes weeks are ignorant, and fueled by scares from the police/dea. They lie to scare and discourage use. I take ativan monday- thursday, and have tests on Monday mornings. I've taken it Friday night and been clean by monday. It's out within 1-3 days depending on the person. Btw ativan is not dose-dependent. So higher doses clear in the exact same time as low doses. It doesn't accumulate. Unlike marijuana/valium.
