I took 1 10mg oxycodone on sunday @ 5pm[was prescibed btw] and it showed up in my urine test monday @ 7pm. I have another urine test tuesday morning, will it still show up.?! I havnt taken anything else but that 1 pill in over 7 months, I am not active and weigh 270lbs. I did take 4 stacker 3s and I am drinking tea. What else can help in less than 12 hrs to get it out of my system for a urine test.?

The APAP stands for acetaminophen not ibuprophen so before you get all high and mighty like your a doctor of something maybe you should know what the hell your talking about.

I don't think you'd need to take an Oxy after spraining your ankle. If you're a nurse, I bet you see a lot of people "in pain" in the hospital that get pain killers. It's an epidemic. Not sure if you get drug tested but if you do, I would suggest you tell your boss and have it looked at. That way you'll cover your ground. Also, oxycodone is rarely prescribed for an ankle sprain. Maybe Hydrocodone/APAP 5-500. Not an Oxy 10mg. It's double the dosage and more powerful a narcotic. You need to take an anti-inflammatory drug as well (ibuprofen) which is what the APAP means in a hydrocodone Rx.

I am a nurse and the prescription was from several months ago when I had ankle surgery..and sunday I sprained it carrying laundry down a flight of stairs, so instead of insisting on a prescription of pain meds from the hospital I thought Id be resourceful and use what I had since I had almost all of them from when they were first prescribed. Just wasnt sure how my boss would react to my taking a pain pill from however many months ago.

If you have a prescription and took it according to a doctor's orders, then it shouldn't matter if it is detected, you should just have to inform whomever is doing the testing.

And no, there is really no guaranteed way to clean it out of your system that fast, though it can vary from person to person depending on your individual metabolism, overall health and etc. the average detection time for a urine test is approximately 5 days, after last dosing.
