what is this drug that is found in Program Plus tablets that my labrador is taking for heartworm protection. It says Excipients Q.S. to 1560mg. What is this word or drug???

The words 'Q. S.' is an acronym for 'Quantity Sufficient'.
Excipients are all the other ingredients in the product apart from the drug.
In latin language, Q. S. means 'quantum sufficit'.

Hence, the phrase on the product that you have referred means, other ingredients have been added to make up the weight to 1560 mg.

Program Plus is used to help prevent fleas and heartworms.

The specific ingredients are Milbemycin Oxime and lufenuron.
