Efexor

How come that my ilness Bi-polar affective Disorder now has been treeded fo 10 years only with this drug? No danish doctors can explain why only the depressive can be fixed and then I have not have one single manic period? I only have to take 37,5 mg Efexor every second day to be allright. I have tried to be without Efexor for 12 days but I got mild depressesed and I started again.
Have you a reason or experience for this.
