Estrogen/methyltest Ds
UpdatedI started taking this drug on 10/14/11. How long does it take to start working and does it have a high or low percent of weight gain?

Hi Karen,
While this drug can effect each individual differently, I did find information stating that at 4 weeks the hormones should be settling in.
For some people it kicks in pretty soon and for others it can take what seems like forever to get noticeable results. The changes you'll see will depend entirely on your current symptoms.
Regarding weight changes, weight gain is actually one of the possible side effects associated with this drug. There have also been a number of reviews with individuals complaining about weight gain, but this does not account for those who have not had weight gain issues. Unfortunately the only way to find out for yourself is to try it and see how you feel. It may make one person gain weight and have no effect at all on another person.
I hope this helps!
