Drixoral And Effidac Discontinued

I started taking Effidac a long time ago which worked great for 24 hours. Then it was pulled off the shelves. I switched to Drixoral, which only lasts for 12 hours but did the trick. I guess it's the next one to go off the shelves. I'm not sure what else to do except suffer along with the rest. Any suggestions on other OTC medications that might help?

I remember effidac as well. it worked wonderful within two days I was rid of any cold I had suddenly it was off the shelf I was very disappointed they don't want things to work for you, they want to make money off of you

Effidac was GREAT! I was just telling my daughter about it. The active ingredient in it was pseudoephedrine which people figured out how to extract to make meth.

Try Mucinex. Make sure you get the one behind the counter at the pharmacy. I use the one with 1200 Guifenisen, 120 pseudoephedrine. Works great. But only 12 hr.
