Doxycycl Hyc Side Effect
Updatedtook 1st 100 mg tablet of doxycycl hyc last night. This AM had burny, itchy red rash on right hand. Took second tablet this AM and 3rd this PM. Now have blisters like poison ivy on one finger. Is this a typical side affect of the docycycl hyc? If so, will it go away, or must I change medication.

If it's limited to one hand or one finger, then I have doubts that it's been caused by the Doxycycline as the reactions it causes usually encompass most of your body.
It sounds more like something has caused contact dermatitis.

However, I am not a doctor, so I'd suggest contactings yours to ask their opinion of it.
