Does The Energy Drink Nos Make You Test Positive For Methamphetamine (Top voted first)

I went to the hospital for really bad pains and felt like I was having back labor, and they did some test and one was a drug test and said everything was fine but told me that I tested positive for methamphetamine. I do not do methamphetamine at all and they said that nos will not do that and they would not take another test of any sort to fix this, and they tell me that I can not get it taken off my record. I need to know what I can do because this is not right and I will not be labeled something that I am not.

I drank 3 Nos's last weekend and my random drug screen 4 days later came back positive for Amphetamine and Methamphetamine. I've never used either.

If you're going to call all of us liars then please don't even bother posting. May you have a false positive drug screen and have your life go to hell because of it. Have a great day!

I do not use or do drugs and I tested positive for PCP. I had drank a Nos energy drink 30 minutes before my drug test. I'm about to be revoked on my probation. Can this be because of the Nos?

Same thing happened to me.. I drink 2 NOS' a day everyday and I came out positive for amphetamines and have NEVER used.

Just found out i Tested POS. for Amphetamines, and the only thing I had was my daily "Energy Drink", usually NOS or VENOM or MONSTER, they all have basically same stuff in it, but i also had my daily ZANTAC "Ranitidine" stomache med, and im POS for AMPHETAMINE and I DID NOT USE, I have no Reason to lie about it, especially on here. I did find out though Zantacs have caused many false positives, im on probation too and i have to give them my reports from my Clinic, I have challenged it, will be back in 3-5days, wish me luck, I AM INNOCENT! I BELIEVE YOU GUYS!

I am coming up on 4 years clean in April and I'm in school to be a EMT now I'm having to do a bunch of tests which is typical but I have a problem drinking too many energy drinks either Rockstar Punch or Red bull now I have health issues and I ask for a pee test every time I go to my doctor and for some reason I'm also testing positive for amphetamine which I know doesn't last almost four years in your system. My doctor says to quit drinking them and I researched the topic and sure enough other people are having same issue not to mention some websites said monster energy and ibuprofen have a ingredient that causes a false positive THC to show up on a test.

I worked with human resource and a female tested positive. She stated she never did methamphetamine, so we advised her she would have to have a more in-depth test done to break it down. She did that and the doctor's office faxed the results and it was an ingredient in the energy drink.

Yeah...don't lie...we know the difference...you cannot become positive for Methamphetamine unless you took something...there are two different types of Methamphetamine Positives...one is over the counter and the other is STREET USE...the test tells you the difference. But if he feels it is wrong then dispute it by contacting the lab that tested it and ask for a Dispute Packet.

Ive been doing drug test to get my daughter back and it's tested positive for speed they sent it back to the labs to pinpoint and now waiting for the results I know I have not touched any drug I'm hoping this is the case or i don't know but reading this says a lot

I live in a half way house and was drug tested last night and cocaine, benzos and t.h.c came up on the test. I was perplexed as. I have not done anything in 19 days. The only thing that I've had was a rock star energy drink. I told my house manager but she wasn't buying it. I said I wanted to take a second drug test which I was allowed and the second came up negative for all substances. She told me she was sorry for not believing me and then I found that energy drinks can make a false positive on a drug test. I had drank 4 that day and my urine was neon yellow which probably isn't good. I'm going to start drinking water from now on.

I went to hospital last night and they told me would not show up as an amphetamine but I do not do drugs I have major heart problems but yet they're saying that it doesn't show up and I do drink Nos and monsters on a daily basis

My son just got violated for using Methamphetamine. And i know he hasn't. He's been drinking energy drinks and his parole officer put him in lock up. This is bulls***. I'm 100% sure he hasn't done that stupid s***. So yes the energy drink can cause you to drop dirty.

I am a toxicologist. You cannot tell the difference. That is why you are discouraged from drinking energy drinks before urine drug screens. You can, however, ask for a hair follicle test, saliva swab, or blood sample.

I always drink nos energy drinks and I took a UA for my job two weeks ago and I was told I came back positive for Burprenorphine because I had nothing to hide that I truly took that test never in my life thought it would come back as a drug and lost my job because of it

they aren't lying certain energy drinks such as Redline do cause a positive testing for methamphetamine I know this for a fact due to a friend who works doing uas and the only way to get around it is to let them know beforehand so they can write it down
