I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

He has an actual hole but won't do surgery. My husband was afraid we would lose everything. I would go back to work under table as a nurse but they frown on the nurse sicker than the clients. We lost our big maintenance account but I have my husband will get by.

So...does he have an ulcer....or an actual hole? One...will heal if properly treated and managed....it just takes a while. The other requires surgical repair....but the recovery is much quicker.

The memorial service went well yesterday. Turned out that I knew the pastor, so after the service I had a great conversation with him. So a positive out of a negative for me. The children all seemed to hold up fine (the grandmother on their mothers side is who passed).
The grandchildren were wonderful and even the 11 month old twins were well behaved during the service.

Glad your phone lines are back working LOL. The road grader and the snow plow dig up our lines several times a year and we are then without any service at all. Last repair, they crossed the lines and my neighbor was getting our calls and we theirs :)

I agree that there seem to be some really sadistic people in the industry that makes and provides our medication. There are lots of people who take oxycodone, and the oxycodone that's manufactured by KVK Tech is garbage. Doesn't transmit the opiate to your central nervous system in a timely fashion. The pharmacies are well aware of this problem, but because of their profit margin, keep forcing people to accept a medication that doesn't work.

I guess you are a little surprised that your problem took off and became such a positive thing for so many chronic patients :) I know that it would be wonderful if you could attend the next support group, I know everyone would be very excited to meet you that doesn't know you.

Wendy, thanks for asking. I'm a ok! Just a little stir crazy. I used to go out and maybe look around the store at least once a week. Now I only go out for the doctor. My crocheted items that I'll never use myself are stacked sky high, and I miss the dollar tree lol. It could be worse ha

Wendy, I am sorry to hear about the trials you're having. If I can do anything, please let me know. I'm serious. I do have a good way to get around with ease during the day so anything. I'll email you my # in case I didn't already. I use my phone for everything as it is.

Hey y'all. Sorry I've been awol again.
My anemia has taken a turn for the worse. I'm OK, and working with the best, but can we say fat vampire princess face? Sarah does mean princess in Hebrew lol. As low blood count can cause me to pass out I'm not allowed to drive. I am however here and keep graveyard hours mostly. Anyone who wants to or needs a chit chat or really anything please ask for my info.

I'm so glad to see the positivity that comes from the discussions on here. I never thought it would get to this point, but I am very happy that it has helped so many people.
