I took a drug test through disa on 6/13/13 and failed. I went home and took over the counter drug test and passed on the same day. I went back to disa on 6/14/13 and took another drug test that I paid for and passed. I showed them the prescriptions I was on from gallbladder surgery. They say I have to go to their drug abuse class before I can become active again to go to work? How can I resolve this issue?
If you failed a disa drug test over 10 years ago and then you refuse a ranbom for disa what will they do
How much is it to get disa back to active
I had a perscription for valium. So I felt comfortable taking my DISA drug screen. A few days went by & DISA's MRO wascalling me to send a pic of the perscription. I did. A few days later he calls again, tells me my Dr Meguel Leal has died & he will not confirm a Doctor-to-patient relation ship & that he IS goin to report me as positive & inactive.
I had to 1st pay SAP $575. They sent me to a counselor who charged me $100+. That counselor sent me to another SAP counslor who charged me about $150 per hour. Then they had me go to a clenic and pay for a drug screen out of pocket...$35. From the time I took the 1st drug screen until i finally went to take (and pass) another DISA drug screen was 2 months; for a loss of an additional $10,000+ from being "inactive". Drug screening is now a $5.9Billion industry and they will try to make more money off of you given half a chance!
If I fail a urine drug test with Disa can I still take a hair follicle test n get hired
DISA, now called my manager every month for me to take another drug screen and now call my manager every month for me to take another drug screen and it usually comes back as deluded. Then I have to go again a couple days later every month like clockwork. It's all about the Benjamins. Its been more than a year since they posted positive on me
Can I be reinstated since I failed a disa drug test for methamphetamine? If so, what steps do I need to take? I need to get back to work as fast as possible! Thanks for any and all guidance.
I took a DISA in 2011, but failed it. If I apply for another job will that failed test still show up years later? How long does a failed drug test stay in the system?
Re: karen (# 2)
I've been working for a company for 5 yrs, and have applied for a new job, which required a hair follicle. IF I fail, will my present company (requiring only a urine test) find out? Will my results be shared with a new company?
While at work, I was notified that I failed a disa random drug test. When I spoke with the Dr.'s assistant, I did not think to verbally tell her all of the medications I was taking or other possibles that could have caused a false positive result (I was in shock of being told I tested positive and I travel for work so I did not have all meds infront of me at the time). I was flown home the next day despite my persistence to take another test or hair follicle. When I returned home, I contacted Disa to see what steps I needed to take to have my urine retested. However, after going over all the possibilities on the phone with the Dr.'s Assistant (whom was rather rude and nonchalant about the information I was giving her) I was told that they would not retest my urine for those things/meds..Question 1..how can I obtain test results assuring me that they retested for those other meds that could have possibly caused a false positive?....I paid to have my urine retested, once again the retest came back positive. I am currently trying to obtain a copy of both the original test and retest. I was told that I could not work with a company that has a Zero Tolerance or one that goes through the DISA or NASAP program. I will see a local Dr with the return to work program this week. Problem is that this makes it seem like I am guilty when I have not touched marijuana in months, I HAVE BEEN CLEAN, I QUIT that occasional temptation (truth)..smh. My question is, once cleared, will I NOT be able to work for a company that participates in the DISA or NASAP program, even if they drug test me every week for the next 5 years? I have to get to the bottom of this especially because I quit smoking months ago because it is not worth a persons career...on the contrary, now look!! I have heard of ppl doing worse, I see coworkers doing worse while still having a Job....what can I do to fix this wrong? How can I assure that I clear my name from this unfortunate circumstance? Mostly, how can I make sure that my urine was tested for those other medications, that could vindicate my name, and prove a false positive result?
