Diamox Sequels
UpdatedI have pseudo tumor cerebri & was given this drug to reduce some of the pressure in my head. Every week I face several severe side effects, what drug could I recommend to replace this one?

If you're just using Diamox Sequels (Acetazolamide XR) for glaucoma (intraocular pressure) as it's indications state, then I would consider trying medical marijuana as an alternative replacement with less side effects.
I can't say for sure that it will work as well or better, but if you are wanting to avoid such severe side effects, it could be a viable option. Personally, I feel that it works very well for me if I ever have pressure in my head and want a "lighter" feeling, per say.
Hopefully it can work just as well for you in a similar manner, but I suppose it would really come down to whether or not it's legal in your state? I would also recommend that you double check with your doctor first before stopping or changing any medications.
I hope this helps!
