Cognix For Memory Loss
UpdatedDoes this medication work for treating memory loss?
Also, what are the possible side effects associated with long term use?

My mother has been suffering from cerebral atrophy for the past 6-7 years, and over the last year, she has started showing signs of Alzheimer's. Our doctor has prescribed her Cognix Plus thrice a day for the last 2-3 years. I'm confused about the exact use of Cognix Plus. Recently, another doctor advised me to discontinue its use. So, I would like to know whether it is safe to stop taking Cognix Plus after such a long period, or is it still necessary for her condition? I would greatly appreciate your guidance on this matter as soon as possible.
Thank you.
