Calvapen 666 In Pregnancy
UpdatedI'm currently 7 and a half weeks pregnant and have been prescribed calvapen for a septic throat. Will it affect my developing baby or is it OK to use during the first trimester?

Hello, Marika! How are you? Congratulations on the baby!
The U.S. FDA does not note any known risk to taking this antibiotic, while pregnant. The typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
