Best Generic Adderall Brands (Page 15)

Is the round pink 30 mg Adderall generic name Sandoz/Eon with the markings of CDR 136 on one side more or less effective than the oval orange 30 mg Adderall generic name Barr/Teva with the markings of b974 on one side and 30 on the other side? What is the most effective/potent Adderall that is generic and 30 mg?

I have always gotten my adderall IR filled at Rite Aid and now that I am unemployed and have no insurance. I use an Rx Savings Card for a lower price on scripts and Walgreens so happened to be 20.00 cheaper so I had it filled there..... let me start with I always firmly believed generics were the same as name brand until I started in this script from Walgreens. I searched on the internet wondering if others felt different on Walgreens meds and found out that the manufactures can be different and I looked on my bottles and Walgreens says Teva and Rite Aid says Corepharma. I will make sure I get my Rx from Rite Aid from now on cause I feel nothing on these Teva pills! I take 10 mg 3x daily. This sucks that I have another 20 days on these! I take them for excessive daytime sleepiness and have been on adderall for 11 years. I have to take a 5 hr energy to get thru the day. Corepharma is better than Teva to me.

I have been taking the Teva brand from Walgreens for about a year and everything was good. A few days ago I went to CVS for my refill because it was near the doctor office and I thought nothing of it. They carry a generic made by Aurobindo which I had not heard of but assumed must be similar to Teva. I WAS WRONG. The Aurobindo brand is much stronger and lasts in my system much longer. I took half of a 20mg pill at 3:00PM and could not fall sleep at all that night. I went into work the next day on no sleep. The second day I took the half 20mg pill at noon and I again could not fall asleep that night. On top of that, it makes me jittery and LESS focused, plus my heartbeat seems to increase. I would not recommend this brand which most CVS stores now use and will be going back to Walgreens for future refills.

I have tried Teva generic (Walgreens), Corepharma, Mallincort and Teva. The Corepharma are by far the best for your ADD symptoms with the least amount of side effects! Trust me. The Teva does nothing. The Mallincort are terrible and crumble in your hands. The Aurobindo is straight speed with no ADD help (really hated those). Corepharma are smooth and not over whelming and give great focus and concentration. Isn't that what you want in a ADD med?

I don't use the adderall for ADD. I am prescribed it for excessive daytime sleepiness. I was falling asleep driving. That is the scariest s*** ever!! I had a sleep study done and then had to stay over for the day to have an MSLT study done. Every 2 hours you have to take a nap for 15 minutes. I fell asleep within 4 minutes which they stated was very early which made me fall into the category for EDS. I must say adderall gave me a life. When my kids talk about their childhood with me they say you slept all the time. I was a single mother with two boys but to look back now I wasn't living. I was too tired to do anything. I thank God for adderall. People who abuse it piss me off because it really helps people with living their lives.

I go to CVS on Staten Island and the pharmacists are telling me that they cannot get Teva Adderall to fill the 30 mg xr capsules. I called Teva and they told me that Teva has sold its generic xr to another company. I called CVS to ask them if they would fill the name brand, and they are saying that Shire, the only name brand manufacturer, will not respond to their requests. I found that to be odd. Going to switch pharmacies, and attempt to get the name brand.

I have the same "life story" as you. Falling asleep driving and trying to raise to children. I missed SO much of their growing up because I couldn't stay awake. Adderall saved my life and helped me to establish a strong family unit simply because I had the ability to stay awake. The adderall worked perfectly for years! UNTIL......Teva sold their trademark or whatever to another manufacturer overseas. The original Teva brand name 10mg IR (took a daily dose of 60 mg divided throughout each day which worked. Later, I was forced into using Teva's generic 10 mg IR. It worked exactly the same as its name brand. THEN, suddenly in 2014, it seemed less effective. I thought it was because I had taken it for so many years that I finally developed a tolerance to it. I struggled with the 60mg daily dose for 2 years before I realized that Teva adderall was not really Teva adderall anymore. I have tried so many other generic manufacturers of the 10mg adderall with varying successes (mostly unsuccessful....and not 1 manufacturer was anywhere as effective as the original Teva (name brand or generic) prior to 2016. I finally got used to the Mylan 10 mg adderall IR and as if this month Feb/March 2017....no one in the Augusta, Ga area can get any from the warehouse. I don't know why they are suddenly not available. It worked just ok but at least it it worked consistently and with some level of effectiveness. It is still sub-par to the original Teva but now, what manufacturer do I go to now? Does anybody know why Mylan isn't sending 10mg IR out right now or when they will? Does anybody know if trying a 20 mg IR tablet vs. the 10 mg IR in any manufacturer works better than the 10mg IR? I can only have up to 60mg IR a day but maybe the actual strength pills might differ in effectiveness based on the manufacturer? Any guidance would be really appreciated. If I fill a months worth of another junk adderall ....I lose an entire month of my life. Everything stops because I am stuck in the bed sleeping. It is awful to depend so much on a stimulant....and now matter how healthy I eat, etc., helps enough to stay awake without an effective adderall IR. The Extended release works ok (Vyvanse 180 mg) IF I can add in 20 mg adderall IR at the same time first thing in the morning. I need that much stimulant to get out of bed each day. Ugh. Ideas? Thanks!

I have taken the pink round 20 mg tablets three times a day..actually 2 were the most..effective..Now kroger had these peach round 20 mg tabs with a U30 stamp...They are a powder, crumbly..and three..pills..have zero effect..a waste of time and money...I'm lethargic, no doubt withdrawal from the other product...manufacturer is Auribindi, India...The pink pill's manufacturer was core pharma llc....How do I know when a pharmacy switches brands?.....devastating.

I have just experienced the same from Kroger I have used same pharmacy for 5 yrs for my Add Medication. The best was an oval shape orange pill by Barr but they don't usually carry but have been consistently on corepharms 20mg twice a day pink in color and it works seems to be inconsistent but for the most part worked and believed pharmist telling me the ingredients are the same and so should the results till I started reading forums. This month Kroger switched pharmacists and I received aurobindo and I feel this medication is a scam I don't feel it helps with anything but have had tightness in my chest and noticed I am withdrawn, have lack of motivation, lathergic. Not sure what to do and these changes need to be announced to consumer before a pharmacy decides. After reading this and other forums I will be making calls to other pharmacies to find the right one and will not accept any changes.

I really don't think there is a brand that starts with a "V". There is "non stimulant" alternative by the name of Vyvanse.

Actually, I thought I posted a reply to your question, but wanted to edit it. If you are referring to Vyvanse, it says it is a stimulant, but it is a NON narcotic. Sorry for the misinformation.

This forum is slowly but surely dwindling down to the lowest common denominator.
Vyvanse non narcotic and not a stimulant....so you say?
What then do you think it is? Consisting of dextroamphetamine and of lysine it is absolutely a stimulant and a narcotic. Schedule II if I remember correctly.
Check your information before you post. Or post somewhere else.
Talk about misinformation.

I just had the same thing happen to me in Augusta ga at my Kroger. I was on the darker pink 30 mg. I only took have and have a hugeneral headache and chest hurts. What's the best one. The pink did not do this either and worked for me.

I ask my Kroger to get me the brand of Adderall and mg. that worked best for me and they did, so don't let them give u any crap that they can't because they can. If they tell u they can't they r just being to lazy, u tell them u have talked to other ppl from other Kroger stores who's pharmacy r doing it. ! ! ! !

Omg definitely not happy with the Kroger switch. Even tho my script said no substitute allowed this time I received the new round light orange 30mg ir (I didn't know they were another generic). I was excited to try a new kind finally but after 2 days and upping the dose, they are a total placebo! My dose is high due to tolerance and these are total bs. I've had them 2 days and I've slept walked all my day away both days with BABIES. I didn't even know I could fall asleep around screaming kids, like wtf!!!! I've been on this stuff on and off for nearly 20 years and when I finally request name brand I received this BS with NO info!!! I have to know if I can take this s*** back? This isn't going to workout!

The best brand of Adderall and my humble opinion is the peach tablet 30 milligram generic from Sandoz. For some reason though this particular batch that I just got two weeks ago is not working the same but any other time it is on point. I also noticed that the last two or three years around this time either they are on backorder or something is different about the medication.

Just filled my monthly Corepharma 30 mg and after 5 day break, great results. Increased concentration, focus, mood enhancement, no side effects. This is my 4 refill of Corepharma after "trying" the Teva 30 mg which I found to be slightly more potent than a sugar pill...strange how these generics are all over the place.

Been prescribed two 30mg/day adderall, for two years now.

After immense research, my efforts have drawn my conclusion, the only way to lower a very high tolerance, is to completely stop taking it for a few days then maintain a very low dose.

This is absolute fact, ive tried to get around this many ways, never works. Supplements like magnesium will add to adderall's effectiveness by about 3%.

It's very hard to skip even 1 day without complete lack of energy for me, an wanting to smash someone, i've lowered to about 15mg a day instead of 60mg, also chew up 2,000mg calcium carbonate (antacid) ten mins prior to increase effectiveness.

I feel like im wasting my time sometimes tho, like my tolerance is so high im wasting every dose it seems, also have an addiction to drinking monster energy 2-3 daily for the past 5 years. Not drinking water all day is hell sometimes, feels like a sludge hammer to my testicles. i guess im just here to rant. The only ones that work (for me anyway - as of 4/30/2017) are pinks (cor pharma). Aurobindo, teva and sandoz all lack energy & feel like s***.

But the fillers & binders effect bodies differently so its individual to each person. Teva is trash to me. Went thru hell 3 months back cuz of them. Reports to FDA does nothing, its all about money, overseas pharmacies and doctors banking off of adderall addict lab rats like myself. Neways, kudoz yall -N. New York.
