What alternative is there for Aspavor? Are there any herbal or other natural products that could perform the same function in contolling cholestrol?

Hey Rob,

I'm glad you asked; I am all for the natural alternatives of prescriptions.
Have you ever looked into Essential oils? Research I have gathered shows that 100% therapeutic grade Lemongass and/or Cinnamon essential oil taken in a capsule daily, can lower serum cholesterol significantly.
Aside from Essential oils, supplementing with fish oil on a regular basis can also lower cholesterol levels.

Here is a small list of herbs and foods that contribute to lower levels of cholesterol:

- Alfalfa - known to help remove cholesterol from the body
- Flaxseeds
- Licorice root
- Reishi mushrooms
- Siberian ginseng
- Capsicum Fruit
- Psyllium
- Red Yeast Rice
- Hawthorn berry
- Tomatoes – they contain nicotinic acid, which is known to help reduce cholesterol levels in the blood.
