Yes, I use this drug for insomnia and I want to know if it is habit forming and can I stop taking it at anytime?

I am taking AMITRYN 10 for the past two months. Is it safe to take it for a long time and if so how long? This was prescribed by a urologist for getting up frequently at night for passing urine and consequently not getting proper sleep. With this medicine i am comfortable. Please reply.

I used to get up frequently at night for passing urine. This has resulted in disturbed sleep and sometimes even insomnia. My urologist has prescribed Amitryin10 one tablet to be taken at night. I am taking this tablet for the past two months and i find some relief. My question is how long I can take this safely. Please reply.
