i just want to ask, althea usser ako, on the 9th day free pill period ko na xa na take instead of 7 days, is it still ok? Safe prn ba?

Ang pill free po ba ay pag naubos ang bawat pack o sa unang pack ka lang hindi iinom ng 7 days?

Hi. I'm taking althea for 4 mos now. I finished my last pack Tuesday Last week. I should start the new pack on Wednesday this week, but I forgot to. I will start the pack Thurs instead. Is this okay?

hi. nagtake ako ng althea nung 1st day ng period ko Aug.15,2015. sinunod ko yung instruction na evryday same time hanggang maubos un 21pills,bale last day ng pag inom ko ng pill nung sept.4. 2x na may nangyari Aug 20 at 24. pang 5th day ko na na pill-free days ngayon pero wala pading menstruation. worried ako. buntis po ba ako? o wait ko na magkaregla ako since 1st time ko nman gumamit ng althea nitong Aug lang. hndi ndin ako gagamit ng 2nd pack since nakaalis na mister ko nung Aug25 pa. hoping for ur prompt.reply. thank u

Oo naman. With or without bleeding you have to take the pill after your 7 pill free days.

kapag lumagpas ka ng 7 days, mag oovulate kna nun at kailangan mona naman maghintay ng 7 days before ka maging safe sa intercourse. Kaya rule of thumb, 7 days break and you'll have to take the next pack

I start using althea pills nung august. On my 3rd day of period ng take agad ako ng tablet yun kc sabi ng OB ko. Peru ng naubos yung 21 tablet after 3days pa ako ngkaruon ulit ng regla. So? meaning sakto nman 21days and 7days yung regla ngkataon lang nadelay yung regla ko kc ng take agad ako kahit di pa tapos (7days free pill) yung period ko. Then yung second pack ko enisakto ko na yung 7days regla ko (free pill) pagkabukas ng take na ako ng pills after 21 tablet sakto din pagkabukas i had my period. 3rd pack of althea pills ko na ngayun natapos na po yung 21tablet ko nung Thursday dapat Friday period ko na peru until now Sunday wala pa po akong regla. Possible po ba na buntis ako? PLEASE! Need your Response. And if ever po bang mag regla na ako bukas 4rth day of my free pill kc laging 7days yung regla ko mg start na po ba akong mag take ng tablet on 8th day? Kahit i have still my period. Thank You So Much! :)

Even if there's no contact within the 7day free pill, is it still at risk for pregnancy? I forgot to take the new set of pills after the 7day free pill.. it is now on the 10th day.. Can I sill take the pill?

No, if you go longer than the 7 days, without taking the active tablets, then you are at risk for pregnancy. The tablets cannot prevent pregnancy, if you aren't taking them.

They must be taken daily for the other 21 days of the month, in order to do their job and prevent ovulation and you can only do a 7 day pill free period.
