A 328 R And Moon Crescent Logo

These pills were given to me as Furosemide but when I searched for A328 they show as thyroid tablets. Been taking them for almost three months now. What are they?

The "R and moon crescent" that you listed in title sounds like the actavis logo. Can you confirm that the logo is on your pills?

Also, were these dispensed by a pharmacy in the United States, or are they from a different country?

Yes. The logo is on one side and the A328 on the other. Walgreens

The closest possibility that I've found along these lines is the same as what you're saying - a thyroid pill containing Methimazole 5 mg. The only thing is that it's not reported to have the R and Logo on the back side, but based on the fact that it was manufactured by Actavis Totowa LLC (the logo on the pill looks like the Actavis logo and has A 328 on the front), it could very well be the case. You may be interested in seeing the archived drug label on DailyMed (NDC 52152-328) which states:

"Methimazole Tablets, USP 5 mg - White to off-white, round, biconvex tablets, debossed “A 328” on bisected side."

Would you happen to have the NDC # and/or manufacturer name handy from your latest prescription bottle?

Thanks that was what I was afraid of. I am on a cruise now and always place my pills on pill boxes but will look when I get home. The reason I noticed was because when I took the new pills received they were different so I checked the internet.
