5 Days On Viibryd

Okay so ive been taking viibryd for about 5 days now. I was on celexa for 10 years before this and have been experimenting different medicines the past couple weeks to find someone to avoid weight gain and other side effects. This medicine really works well for mood. However, the past 5 days ive been experiencing headaches and nausea as well as having a difficult time sleeping. Im hoping those side effects go away soon though. I have high hopes for this medicine. I also experienced a bit of gas and going to the bathroom more. (nothing too excessive) . I've felt a bit light headed at times though and my vision is ever so slightly blurrier. This medicine definitely must be taken with food... my appetite hasn't been too consistent either. I seem to be very sensitive to medicines though so hopefully others are having better luck with it!
I hope my side effects get better from here.

Hi Jill,

I have been on V for going on 3 months now. I didn't have the gastric problems, except for gas that is. Lightheadedness...ect was the biggest things which go away and weird dreams...with are starting now to not be as recurrent. There are a lot of replies on another thread on here, you may want to post there. You definately want to take it with food and try not to eat your cravings. I have gained a couple of pounds, but I think only cause I was eating the things I was craving. I love this med as you will see in the other thread. Good Luck!!

You could try taking it right before you are about to fall asleep. That has been working for me. When I was taking it in the morning, it would keep me up. I take either .5 xanax or 30mg of restoril, then 20 minutes later when I feel my eyes closing, I take the viibryd and fall alseep. I sleep through the night.
