15mg Oxycodone And 30mg Ir Adderall (Top voted first)

Updated

Hi, I've been taking half a 15mg oxycodone every morning around 9am. I don't like how a whole one makes me feel and I can still function with only a half. I usually take 1 whole 10/325 norco at that time but I'm out of them so I'm stuck taking the oxycodone. For the past 4 days I've been taking 1 daily 30mg adderall tablets(instant release) about 2 hours after taking the oxycodone half. I was taking 1 daily 30mg vyvanse for the past few months but I wanted to try adderall for awhile and see which seemed better to me.
My issue is... can I take another adderall, but only half of it? Every time I take the adderall, a couple hours later I feel blah and just sit for awhile doing nothing, I like the adderall but I don't like the quick wear off. I'm hoping I didn't do anything wrong by taking vyvanse for months then the day after I took my last vyvanse I started the adderall. I take half of the 15mg oxycodone every 5 to 6 hours throughout the day up until no later than midnight every day. How will it make me feel if I take half of the adderall a couple hours after taking the full adderall? I don't want to have a heart attack or a worse chemical imbalance in the brain? Is it OK that I started the adderall the day after taking my last vyvanse? I don't like this sluggish feeling. I hope someone can answer.

I'm sorry about the way you're feeling.

It's most likely from abruptly stopping the Vyvanse, that can cause a rebound effect and actually make things worse for awhile, basically similar to withdrawal. It could take a couple weeks for your body to adjust and for you to know how the Adderall works for you.

Both of these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, insomnia, headache, irritability and anorexia.

I'd also suggest not raising your dosage, unless your doctor approves, as that might be too much for you and could result in overdose. You may just need to wait for your body to adjust to the changed.

Is there anything else I can help with?
